Calrad 40-204 | 1080P (2 Wire HDMI Transmitter and Receiver with IR, RS232) The 2 Wire technology system provides many useful features and options to send up to 1080P video, IR and RS232 control signals together over virtually any 2 wires. Our high speed balanced circuitry design for signal delivery is not polarity sensitive and can be wired terminal to terminal or reversed. A HDMI loop output is provided on the transmitter, eliminating the need for a separate HDMI splitter, this HDMI output allows the signal to pass on to 3rd party hardware. Easily send RS232 signals bi-directionally using a 3 position removable terminal block, that can be wired for one way or two way, (Full Duplex) communication. Many different types of cabling can be used to communicate between the transmitter and receiver providing a lot of flexibility solving complicated wiring issues for each type of installation. New or legacy wiring is possible without the worry of shielded or unshielded cables. Signals can easily be sent over Cat3; Cat5e; Cat6; RG59; RG6; Telephone Cable; Audio-Video Cable; Speaker Cable; Alarm Cable; Low voltage power cable. Reliable signal transmission up to 1,000 ft., signal length may vary based on the quality and wire gauge of the cable used. A single transmitter can send signals to 4 separate receivers using part number 40-206 4 port 2 wire splitter.
